Clover Bento
My bento came! Isn't it adorable? I love it so much. It is, however, much smaller than I thought it would be. My cell phone is there for comparison. I question whether or not I'll be able to fit enough food in it. I may have to look into a bigger box. I guess bentos in general are pretty small, though. Hmm. Regardless, I love it. The little bee is my favorite part.
Another shot so you can see the two layers. And also some bonus cat feet in the background.
it's so adorable, it makes me wish I wasn't a big foodie who would never be able to fit anything in such a tiny box. :p
hooray, bonus cat feet!

That's my worry as well. I'm a quantity eater, and this is a wee little box. But I'll report back soon, in any case.

Wow, that's adorable. Unfortunately, I think most bentos are that small ... the ones I have seen are, anyway.

That's adorable, but what I really like is the cat feet!
Personally, I find bento too small, even for my daughter. It takes a lot of planning (and cutting food small) to use the space effectively.

Maybe you can look at it as an exercise in portion control?
At least it's adorable!

Cat feet!
My kids would love that bento for their lunches. Too cute!

couscouscaboose - I've poked around a bit and discovered that while most bentos are pretty small, this one is even smaller than most. I'm eyeing a few that are a bit bigger.
susanv - Thanks! Scarlet has a tendency to but into photos, but I usually don't post the ones with her in it. :) I've yet to put food in the bento, but I think I might for lunch today. We'll see how that goes.
lena - Portion control is one of the things that made me want to get a bento box. :) But this might be a little skimpy even taking that into account. We'll see!
brooke - I think I have the tastes of a kid that way - bright colors and fun characters are key. :)

I thought mine would be too small but after using it, it's actually just the right size.

I'm hoping that's what happens with mine. Although I intend to get a few more regardless. :)

oh, it's so so cute!! thank god there are two layers... but i think in my case i'd end up cutting my sandwich into quarters, filling both layers, and then packing a bag for the rest of my lunch. heh.

Yeah, I don't know if it's actually possible to fit an entire lunch in there. But what it lacks in space, it makes up for in cuteness. :) I can't wait to use it.

Yeah I don't think I've ever seen a cuter box. Any successful packing yet?

Yeah, none of the others I'm looking at are as cute as this. I don't have to take a lunch to school until Wednesday, so I won't be packing it up until then.

Love the bento! Compared to your cellphone I'd agree it is pretty small. I'm looking forward to see what you will pack in it. The food above looks wonderful also.
